To everyone else, you are the couple.

The ones who have it together. The partnership people point to. The relationship that looks, from the outside, like everything a love story is supposed to be.

But inside the house, behind the coordinated schedules and the shared goals and the life you built together, something has gone quiet.

Not loud-quiet. Not fighting-quiet.

Just… distant.

You move through the same spaces. You manage the same responsibilities. You are doing everything right and somehow feeling everything wrong.

When was the last time he really looked at you?

When was the last time her eyes sparkled when you walked through the door?

When did you stop reaching for each other, and start just… coexisting?

You are not roommates by choice. You got here by accident, by ambition, by busyness, by performing so well for the world that you forgot to come home to each other.

That is not the end of your story. That is exactly where this work begins.

I work with high-achieving couples who look like a powerhouse from the outside and feel the distance from the inside.

You are the couple who:

  • Has built something impressive together, and wonders why it still feels lonely
  • Loves each other but has forgotten how to reach each other
  • Handles conflict by going quiet, going busy, or going through the motions
  • Wants more intimacy, more softness, more us, but doesn't know how to ask for it without it becoming a fight
  • Is tired of being couple goals for everyone else while privately grieving what you used to have
  • Knows something needs to shift but has been too capable, too proud, or too scared to say it out loud

You don't have to be in crisis to come here. You just have to be willing to stop performing at each other and start turning toward each other.

How we work together.

Couples therapy here is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy, one of the most research-supported approaches for healing relational disconnection. EFT works because it doesn't just address what you're fighting about. It goes beneath the conflict to the attachment needs driving it, the fear of not being enough, the longing to be chosen, the grief of feeling unseen by the one person who was supposed to see you.

This is not communication skills training. This is not a worksheet about love languages.

This is the deep work of helping two people find their way back to each other, by understanding what pulled them apart in the first place.

I am also a trained EMDR therapist. For couples where individual trauma is surfacing inside the relationship, old wounds, nervous system responses, attachment injuries that predate this partnership, EMDR can be integrated as part of our work together.

For couples preparing for marriage or looking to build a strong relational foundation, I integrate Prepare & Enrich, a structured, research-based assessment that helps couples understand their strengths, navigate their growth areas, and enter commitment with clarity instead of assumption.

My style in couples work is warm, direct, and attuned to both of you equally. I will not take sides. I will hold the relationship itself as my client, and I will not let either of you disappear inside it.

What we work through.

  • Emotional disconnection and intimacy loss
  • Communication breakdowns, the fights that never resolve and the silences that say everything
  • The unequal distribution of emotional labor
  • Rebuilding trust after betrayal, distance, or repeated rupture
  • Premarital preparation and relational foundation building
  • Navigating life transitions, career shifts, parenthood, loss, identity changes, as a unit
  • The slow drift that happens when two high-achievers pour everything outward and forget to pour into each other
A Note on Fit

My couples work is depth-oriented and relational. It is best suited for couples who are motivated, not necessarily happy right now, but willing. Willing to be honest. Willing to be uncomfortable. Willing to turn toward each other even when turning away feels safer.

If you are in active crisis, experiencing abuse, or need immediate intervention, I will help connect you with the right level of support.

For the couple that is drifting, disconnected, and ready to find their way back, this is your space.

Couples sessions are $275, and that includes the full Prepare & Enrich assessment for couples utilizing that component of our work.

This is a boutique, private-pay practice. I keep my caseload intentionally small so I can show up fully for every couple I work with, not just present, but genuinely invested in what you are building together.

You have invested in your careers, your home, your life together.

This is the investment in the relationship underneath all of it.

You built this life together.

You deserve to actually live in it, together.

Reaching out is not an admission that something is wrong. It is the first act of choosing each other.
